jTether is an Android app developed by Paolo Giachin (Via Bellosguardo 65 - TRIESTE - Italy).

jTether first became available on 21 May 2013. It is estimated that jTether has been downloaded between 50000 and 100000 times from the Play Store.

jTether 1.8 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read or write the secure system settings.
